Scope of Application

The website and online store belong to Ericeiróptica- Comércio de Artigos de Óptica, Lda. These general terms and conditions govern the use of the website and commercial transactions carried out through the online store. By placing an order, the customer fully accepts these terms.

Our online store offers a wide range of frames and sunglasses. The latter are designed to provide effective protection against ultraviolet radiation (UVA and UVB), contributing to eye health. These products combine functionality with design, meeting the aesthetic preferences and protection needs of our customers.

The sunglasses sold on this website are intended solely for eye protection against solar radiation, and their sale does not constitute, nor should it be interpreted as, a form of diagnosis, treatment, or cure for any medical condition. The use of these products does not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. Customers are advised to consult an ophthalmologist or optometrist for regular assessments and advice appropriate to their visual needs.

To purchase prescription sunglasses, you must present a valid medical prescription. We offer optometry services in our physical stores, including eye tests and prescriptions, as well as follow-up appointments, by prior arrangement.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is the exclusive property of Ericeiróptica- Comércio de Artigos de Óptica, Lda. All brands of glasses sold in the shop are registered trademarks protected by law. Their reproduction, distribution, modification or use for commercial or other purposes without prior written authorisation constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights.

The prices shown include VAT at the legal rate in force. We reserve the right to change prices and conditions without prior notice. Payment must be made using the methods available on the website. The costs associated with the products, transport and payment transactions are the responsibility of the customer upon purchase or return (where applicable).

Shipping is free for orders over €50 in mainland Portugal and over €150 for the archipelagos of Madeira, the Azores and the rest of the world. For shipments outside Europe, additional costs or fees may apply, which are the responsibility of the customer. Alternatively, the customer can choose to collect the products from our physical stores, without shipping costs.

The carriers used by Ericeira Óptica Premium Store are Nacex for Portugal and Spain, and DHL for the rest of the world. These guarantee the quality and tracking of your order, and the rates charged are the responsibility of the respective entities and can be consulted on their websites.

The customer has 14 days to return the products, provided they are in perfect condition, with no signs of use or damage, including all accessories, in their original packaging and accompanied by the purchase invoice or proof of payment. Returns are subject to evaluation by the shop. Personalised products, such as prescription glasses, cannot be returned, as provided for in the applicable legislation.

All products benefit from a 2-year warranty, in accordance with current legislation. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, excluding damage resulting from misuse or normal wear and tear.

The shop does not provide repair services. If necessary, the customer should contact the manufacturer or a specialist technician directly.
Promotions are announced on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the specific conditions disclosed in each campaign.

These conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall submit to the competent Portuguese courts.
